Call for Demonstrations
The 19th International Workshop on Acoustic Signal Enhancement (IWAENC 2026) will host a dedicated demonstration session featuring innovative and interactive systems in acoustic, speech, and audio signal processing. Demonstrations have long been a valued component of IWAENC, offering contributors a venue to present working prototypes, software tools, hardware setups, and real-time implementations that extend beyond traditional paper presentations. The session will adopt a Show-and-Tell format, emphasizing live, interactive and hands-on demonstrations. The organizing committee welcomes demonstration proposals within all areas in the technical scope of IWAENC 2026.
More on
Demo Submission
Demo proposals (2 pages, IWAENC paper kit) should include:
โข Title of the demonstration;
โข Author names and affiliations;
โข A detailed description of the contribution to be demonstrated, clearly outlining the scope and nature of the demo. This should include an overview of the system, the application domain and problems addressed, and the added value of the demonstration. Authors are encouraged to emphasize the novel elements, integrated algorithms, and interactive features of the system;
โข Technical requirements. Please be aware that authors are responsible for bringing all equipment needed for their demonstration. Each demonstrator will be provided with a table and power outlets, monitors and poster boards can be provided upon advance request. For audio-related demos, the use of high-quality headphones is strongly recommended. Any additional constraints should be detailed on a separate additional page of the proposal;
โข (Optional) Authors may also include a short trailer video (30 seconds to 1 minute) by providing a link (e.g., to a private YouTube video or a shared drive) in the submitted proposal;
โข If the demonstration is related to a paper submitted to IWAENC, authors should specify the corresponding paper ID.
Please note that the demo proposals will not be included in the workshop proceedings. All proposals should be uploaded online via the conference submission system and will be evaluated through a single-blind review process. Authors will be notified of the review decision by email and through the conference platform by the specified deadline. Evaluation will consider relevance to IWAENC 2026 technical scope, originality and technical quality, level of development of the demonstration, and its potential for an effective public interaction. Demonstrations are to be presented in person, with at least one author per accepted demo required to register for the conference.
